THE BEDFORD SWAN HOTEL – Wedding Venue Location Bedford Bedford Wedding Photography – A Day In The Life Of.
The Bedford Swan Hotel is the perfect Bedford wedding venue for an unforgettable special day that dreams are made of.
People often say as a Bedford Wedding Photographer you must have a fabulous jog. Well, that’s an understatement.
On Sunday we were sitting on the Patio of the Bedford Swan Hotel Bedford sipping our Cappuccinos, watching the world go by waiting for our clients to arrive for their rehearsal photos shoot.

A rehearsal photo shoot is a very special morning put to one side where these Bedford Wedding Photographers meet up with their clients to discuss all the important aspects of their wedding day.

As we were waiting, sipping our Cappuccinos I couldn’t help notice the beautiful scenery, the gorgeous backdrops awaiting any couple being married, having the civil ceremony and or reception at the beautiful Bedford Swan Hotel.

Directly opposite the Swan Hotel Bedford Patio is one of the most stunning photography locations literally overlooking the river. We always make a special feature of this location as it makes one of the most beautiful double page album spreads in our brides wedding album.

Of course on the brides and grooms actual wedding day they literally stop the traffic as they pose for their photos. The bride, all dressed up in her beautiful wedding dress, complete with wedding veil and her beautiful bouquet… she does look so gorgeous on this her very special and magical wedding day.

Further down from the Bedford Swan Hotel as the river meanders behind leafy willow trees, there are what we call our ‘secret locations’. These locations hidden from view of the main road and pavement proved even more wedding photography backdrops for our brides and grooms.

They are only a short walk from the hotel, so easy access as always on a sunny Sunday in spring or summer in Bedford, it is very busy with people trying to park their cars in Bedford as well as people strolling by looking at the beautiful flowers that have been planted by the Bedford Council who I must say have done a superb job.
Not to mention people in long queues for ice cream, a particular favourite of mine when strolling by the river in Bedford very near to the Swan Hotel Bedford.

I also love watching and photographing all the activity on the Bedford rive itself. Crafts of all kinds from rowing boats to punts, to paddle boats to cruisers… all meandering by and giving even more ambience to this beautiful medieval town of Bedford.

Back to our Bride and Groom’s Rehearsal photos shoot thought at the Bedford Swan Hotel, where the wedding prices and packages are very reasonable.
This is the rehearsal photos shoot, down by the river, under the willow trees, with the ducks and the swans in the background and swimming up and down the river.
On The Wedding Day itself, our Groom will arrive at the Bedford Swan Hotel in a flame throwing Hot Rod, definitely the favoured car for grooms in Bedford. It’s the most popular Groom-mobile in Bedford, not question about that.
As for the Bridesmaids, they will arrive in a beautiful white stretch limousine, as there are six bridesmaids for this special wedding day. And what about the bride herself I hear you asking… The Bride will arrive at the Bedford Swan Hotel in a stunning 1930’s Vintage Rolls Royce. Immediately after the wedding, the Bride and Groom will depart for a trip around this historical city of Bedford, first down by the river making two stops along the way in predetermined spots, so our wedding photographer can do his stuff here.
With the beautiful flowers and the gorgeous river setting the scenes, there will be some stunning wedding photos for this bride.
